Another story:
We are currently performing guard duty at headquarters. We have a lot of interaction with locals that work here on the camp. We decided to have them put the noses on and allow us to take a picture of them as they left work. Most all were more than willing to do it. We then decided to print the pictures out and put them up on a board, for all of the workers to look at while waiting to sign out at the end of their shift. It has truly been a big hit and caused many laughs. The people here are really appreciative of Americans, and a lot give us credit for them being alive today. It still brings smiles to the workers and visitors that see the board.

The gentleman on the far left of the picture above is an interpreter "who couldn't quite comprehend the whole nose thing; he couldn't understand why we would put a red thing on the end of our noses!"
